Local Roe Deer

We have a pair of Roe deer visiting us this year and are often seen from the conservatory.  This deer came into the garden for a bite to eat and to say hello recently.

Sea Eagles back at Seacroft

Our local Sea Eagles have been back at Seacroft this winter and often seen from the cottage.  The pictures below were taken looking down onto the tidal island near the cottage where they often come into rest during the day.

New local addition to the bird of prey population

New addition nearby at Seacroft Cottage, a baby Buzzard sat in it’s nest with not a care in the world.  A few pictures taken in passing over the last few weeks showing it’s progression from chick.

Warm and sunny weather at Seacroft

We have very warm and sunny weather here at Seacroft Cottage on the Isle of Skye at the moment, we are well into 4 weeks of it now including a few days that were the hottest in the UK. This is our dog Jess relaxing and enjoying the view amongst the bluebells that are a bit late this year.


Bumped into Donnie Munro again…
